Welcome to the North Palm Beach Rowing Club
…and south Florida rowing at its finest. NPBRC is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to our area’s waterways through rowing. By doing so we provide our community with a healthy, “carbon negative” way to experience south Florida’s natural beauty while sharing our love of the sport with kids and adults from all age groups, backgrounds, or experience levels.
Rowing, one of the original Olympic sports, continues to grow in popularity. Title IX and the NCAA have brought significant strides in collegiate rowing, now a varsity sport with scholarships at over 80 colleges and universities in the US. That, in turn, has been a catalyst for high school rowing programs all over the country. And because the physics of rowing delivers an outstanding workout with low joint impact, it truly is a life-long activity that keeps rowers on the water well into their 70s and 80s – and often beyond.
Become a part of our team.
To row with us, or to contribute in other ways to building a true community rowing program, please explore this site beginning with the “Getting Started” tab. We welcome all participants, regardless of experience level or ability.
