What We Do
We're a relatively new club but despite our young age we already do the following:
* Offer “Learn to Row” programs open to the general public that provide a fun, safe way to learn the sport
* Offer a Youth (high-school) team, open to all local high-school students, that competes successfully throughout the region
* Support at-risk and disadvantaged kids through participation in rowing programs whenever possible
* Offer a Masters (adult) team open to area adults of all experience levels who are interested in learning the sport and participating in local and national regattas
* Encourage an atmosphere of camaraderie and cooperation that will allow us to positively affect our local community.
One of our goals is to eventually build a permanent, LEED certified water-sports facility in our area that will increase access and provide a home base for our teams.
